Abstract
New isothiocyanopyridines of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, Cycloalkenyl, or a group of the formula ##STR2## WHEREIN R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 stand for hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, dialkylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, mono- or dialkylcarbamoyl, alkanoyl, halogen, nitro, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogenalkyl, cyano, hydroxy, aryloxy, arylthio, arylamino, aralkoxy, aralkylthio or aralkylamino, PA1 Q represents 0 to 6, PA1 X represents oxygen, sulphur, sulphonyl or the group ##STR3## wherein R.sub.6 stands for hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, dialkylaminoalkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkanoyl, or together with the nitrogen atom and the substituent R.sub.1 it represents a saturated or unsaturated heterocycle, which can further contain oxygen, sulphur, nitrogen or the group N-R.sub.7, wherein R.sub.7 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, PA1 R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or halogen, and in each case one of the symbols m and n denotes 1 while the other is 0, And their acid addition salts and quaternary salts non toxic to warm-blooded animals.
