Abstract
Disclosed are water-soluble azo dyes of formula I, which are useful for dyeing substrates capable of being dyed by anionic dyes, particularly polyamides, paper and leather, ##STR1## in which the X's each signify a halogen atom, R.sub.1 signifies a hydrogen or halogen atom, or a nitro, hydroxy, --SO.sub.3 H, alkyl or alkoxy group, or an alkylated or acylated amino group, and PA1 R.sub.2 signifies a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxy or --SO.sub.3 H group.
