Abstract

The new pyrazolo[3',4'-2,3]pyrido[4,5-e]b-benzo-1,5-diazepinone compounds having the general formula ##STR1## are useful as central nervous system depressants and anti-inflammatory agents. These compounds also increase the intracellular concentration of adenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate.
