Abstract

A polyester-polyether block copolymer composition being very stable even in the presence of heavy metals, which comprises a polyester-polyether block copolymer consisting of segments of polyester units and segments of polyether units; at least one compound containing the group of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each hydrogen or an organic residue, or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 forms a Schiff's base with the adjacent nitrogen, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each hydrogen or an organic residue; at least one radical scavenger and/or at least one peroxide decomposer.
