Abstract

Zeolitic molecular sieves having high SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 molar ratios and containing Cu.sup.+ cations are found to exhibit a high degree of selectivity and affinity for CO molecules and are capable of separating CO from gas streams even when water vapor is present.
