Guanidinobenzoic acid derivatives represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and Z are as defined hereinafter, having anti-plasmin and anti-trypsin activities, intermediates useful for the synthesis thereof and processes for preparing the same.
