Abstract
A halocyanoacetamide compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is a halogen such as Cl, F, Br and I; Y represents a halogen such as chlorine, fluorine, bromine and iodine or hydrogen atom; and PA1 R represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, is stabilized with an organic carboxylic acid or a diol.
