Abstract
Triazine derivatives of formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is a tertiary alkyl radical, PA1 R.sub.2 is hydrogen or a substituent, e.g. alkyl, PA1 n is 0 or an integer, PA1 R.sub.3 is --NH-- or --O--CH.sub.3 --.sub.m PA2 Wherein m is an integer, PA1 X is --O--, --S-- or --NR.sub.6 --, PA2 wherein R.sub.6 is hydrogen or a substituent, e.g. alkyl or phenyl, PA1 R.sub.4 is one of the radicals signified by R.sub.6, or, when X is --NH--, a radical of formula ##STR2## R.sub.1, R.sub.2, n and R.sub.3 being as indicated above, OR R.sub.4, R.sub.6 and the common nitrogen atom, and optionally a further hetero atom, form a saturated 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring, PA1 And R.sub.5 is one of the radicals signified by --X--R.sub.4, or a substituent, e.g. alkyl, Are useful for stabilizing organic materials, e.g. polypropylene, against the degradative effects of oxygen, heat and/or light.
