Abstract
The invention relates to shaped structures, e.g., filaments, fibers or films based on poly(vinylidene fluoride) possessing good dyeing affinity for acid and metal-containing dyestuffs and comprising a fiber and filament forming mixture of poly(vinylidene fluoride) and a copolymer containing 80-95% by weight of methyl methacrylate and 5-20% by weight of a compound which contains a quaternary ammonium group and is copolymerizable with methyl methacrylate. The filaments and fibers according to the invention can advantageously be used in the textile field.
