Abstract
A low yield point cold-reduced steel sheet having excellent properties for press-forming can be obtained by a full continuous annealing process when a low carbon steel is manufactured by: PA1 1. chemical composition is substantially controlled at the steel making stage as follows, PA2 [0.sub.2 ] .ltoreq. 0.02%, preferably 0.014%, depending upon additions of Si and Al, PA2 [Si] .ltoreq. 0.2%, preferably 0.1% to 0.02%, PA2 [Sol.Al] .ltoreq. 0.009%, preferably 0.005%, PA1 2. at the hot-rolling stage after ordinary slabbing, a hot-rolled steel strip is coiled within the range of 650.degree. C to 800.degree. C, and PA1 3. at the continuous annealing stage after ordinary pickling - cold-reducing, a cold-reduced steel strip is subjected to a full continuous annealing including an over-aging treatment.
