Abstract
Azo dyes of the formula ##STR1## wherein X represents a direct bond or a divalent radical, PA1 Y represents a direct bond, an alkylene radical, --S--, --O--, --NH--CO--NH-- or --CH=CH--, PA1 R represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon radical and PA1 K represents a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group or an ammonium, hydrazinium or a cycloimmonium group which are useful for dyeing fibers and textiles of polyacrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymers and for the dyeing of paper.
