Abstract

A compound selected from the group which consists of the amidine of formula ##STR1## and the phytotoxically acceptable addition salts, hemihydrates and hydrates thereof, PA1 R.sup.1, r.sup.2 and R.sup.3 being phenyl or a phenyl group substituted with chlorine, bromine, iodine or fluorine, alkoxy having 1-4 carbon atoms or alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, PA1 R.sup.4 being methyl.
