Abstract
A process for indirectly detecting a misfired explosive (cartridge) which comprises charging a ferrite magnet as a tracer in an explosive charging portion together with an explosive in a blasting method and detecting the magnetic flux of said magnet charged in a misfired explosive cartridge at a site of explosion after blasting by a magnet measuring instrument, characterized by using as said tracer a ferrite magnet calcined at a temperature less than 1000.degree. C. and detecting this magnet by said magnetic detector.
