Abstract

Concentrated storage-stable quaternary styryl dye solutions useful to dye paper, the solutions comprising, by weight, PA1 I. 20% to 40% of the dye ##STR1## wherein A is an anion, II. 30% TO 50% OF AT LEAST ONE OF ACETIC ACID AND PROPIONIC ACID, PA1 Iii. 10% to 40% of at least one acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, and PA1 Iv. 3.3% to 4.5% of water.
