Abstract

2-((2-Chlorophenyl)azo)imidazole and its hydrochloride salt and its dimethyl iodide derivative were prepared and employed as anthelmintics for the control of gastrointestinal nematodes (worms) in animals and more specifically for the control of Haemonchus in ruminant animals.
