Abstract
A camera construction is provided which is adapted to removably accommodate a cartridge of self-developing film. The cartridge presently available on the market includes a rectangularly shaped container having a self-contained battery and a stack of photographic sheets of like configuration disposed therein and arranged so that only the uppermost sheet may be exposed. Subsequent to exposure, the uppermost sheet is slidably removed from the container and discharged from the camera housing through a suitable opening formed therein. The invention in question relates primarily to the mechanism for automatically removing the uppermost sheet from the cartridge container and then to discharge same from the camera housing whereupon the self-developing process for the discharged sheet will occur within a predetermined time.
