Abstract
Photoconductive composition comprising an insulating polymeric matrix and a compound of the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN Ar is anthryl; naphthyl; pyrenyl; indolyl; N-alkyl 2-CARBAZYL; JULOLIDINYL; AND THE SUBSTITUTED ANALOGUES THEREOF, WHEREIN SAID SUBSTITUENTS ARE CAPABLE OF RELEASING ELECTRONS TO THE RELATIVELY ELECTRON DEFICIENT CENTERS WITHIN THE COMPOUND; PA1 X is --NO.sub.2 or halogen; and PA1 N can range from 1 to 5. These compositions have good spectral response in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum and are suitable for use in electrostatographic imaging members and methods.
