Abstract
Novel phenyl piperidines of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and acyl of an aliphatic carboxylic acid of 2 to 6 carbon atoms and R is selected from the group consisting of alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms and phenyl alkyl of 1 to 3 alkyl carbon atoms and their non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts having dopaminergic properties and certain of the compounds possess hypotensive properties.
