Abstract

Compounds useful as antimicrobial and microbicidal compounds have the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is optionally halogen-substituted lower alkyl or optionally substituted aryl, PA1 R.sup.2 is hydrogen and PA1 R.sup.3 is halogen, or PA1 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 conjointly represent a bond, PA1 R.sup.4 is nitrile (--CN) or carboxylic acid amide (--CONH.sub.2) and PA1 Hal is halogen.
