Abstract
There is disclosed an integrated multiplexer and code translator and an integrated demultiplexer and code translator for two binary data streams. The integrated multiplexer and code translator first multiplexes the two data streams and the result is code translated in accordance with the 4B3T (four binary bits to three ternary bits) translation practice as disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 3,611,141. The converse takes place in the integrated demultiplexer and code translator.
