Abstract
Azo dyestuffs, which in the acid form, are represented by the formula: EQU A -- N .dbd. N -- M -- N .dbd. N -- E (1) wherein PA1 A is an aromatic radical, PA1 M is a 1,4-benzene radical which may be substituted, PA1 E is the residue of a coupling component which is free from azo groups, At least one of A and M containing a phosphonic acid group, and the metal complexes of those having a metallisable group are reactive dyes suitable for use in the process of German OLS No. 2324809.
