Method for making a zeolite having the structure of offretite, consisting of reacting in a closed container under autogenous pressure in the absence of tetramethylammonium ions, a composition having specific mole rations of K.sub.2 O,Na.sub.2 O,SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, and H.sub.2 O.
