Triphenyl-1,2,3-triazolyl-(1)-methanes of the formula ##STR1## in which X and Z each independently is hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, nitrile or thiocyano, and PA1 Y is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl or nitro, Which possess fungicidal and bactericidal properties.
