Abstract

Sulfites derived from alkynols and glycol ethers of phenylphenols are provided which are useful as insecticides and acaricides and which exhibit substantially reduced phytotoxicity than similarly used compounds. This invention also deals with the use of the novel sulfites in treating plants.
