Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions comprising as the active ingredient an ether-olecithin of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl of at least 12 and preferably 18 carbon atoms; the compositions are useful for enhancing the natural resistance of the mammalian organism against non-carcinogenic pathogens.
