Abstract

Poly(tetramethylene ether) glycol is prepared by polymerizing tetrahydrofuran, using PA1 (1) a polymeric catalyst which contains sulfonic acid groups, and PA1 (2) a chain terminator which is water or 1,4-butanediol.
