Abstract

Novel agents and methods for triggering abortions employ a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is methyl or ethyl, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogen or alkanoyl of 1-8 carbon atoms, and R.sub.4 is hydrogen or ethynyl.
