Abstract
A process for preparing positive electrodes for non-aqueous cells is provided. Manganese dioxide is heat treated at a temperature of from 350 - 430.degree. C; the treated manganese dioxide is mixed with a conductive agent and binder and the mixture molded; and the molding is heat treated at a temperature of from 200 - 350.degree. C. The process provides positive electrodes for non-aqueous cells having excellent discharge characteristics.
