Abstract
A composition and a method for regulating the plant-metabolism, especially for promoting the abscission of citrus fruit and olives are disclosed, which use as active component a sulfonyl ester of the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN R.sub.1 is an alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl, naphthyl, diphenyl or thienyl rest PA1 X is oxygen or sulphur and PA1 Hal is a halogen atom.
