Abstract

Thiazolyl cinnamic acid nitriles of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is an aromatic hydrocarbon residue which may be substituted in one or several positions by the same or different substituents selected from the group of halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, trifluoromethyl and nitro. The compounds of the invention are effective pesticides and in particular have a high insecticidal activity.
