Abstract

There are prepared black pigment containing UV-drying printing inks in which there is employed for the black pigmentation a carbon black having the following physical and chemical properties: ______________________________________ BET surface area m.sup.2 /g 20-50 Particle diameter nm 30-80 DBP adsorption ml/100g 30-100 Volatile constituents % 3-10 pH 3-6 ______________________________________ The carbon black is produced by post oxidation of a coarse particled furnace black having the properties. ______________________________________ BET surface area m.sup.2 /g 20-50 Particle diameter nm 30-80 DBP adsorption ml/100g 30-100 ______________________________________
