Abstract
Lubricating oils for internal combustion engine containing a minor amount of a combination of PA1 (A) an oil soluble basic organic nitrogen compound having a total base number of at least 300 and a pH of at least 9.5, and PA1 (B) an alkyl or alkenyl succinic acid containing 10-50 carbon atoms have improved corrosion properties.
