Abstract
An adhesive composition comprising an .alpha.-cyanoacrylate and about 0.0001% by weight to about 20% by weight, based on the weight of the adhesive composition, of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (1) polyethylene glycols having a degree of polymerization of at least 3, and (2) non-ionic surface active agents having a poly(ethyleneoxy) moiety therein with the poly(ethyleneoxy) moiety having a degree of polymerization of at least 3.
