Abstract

Non-blocking coatings are disclosed, which coatings comprise an acrylate ester emulsion polymer prepared by polymerization in the presence of a degraded starch which, in a 10 percent solution in 1 N NaOH, has a viscosity not greater than 15 mPa . s at a velocity gradient D=532.1 s.sup.-1.
