Abstract

Thermoplastic moulding compounds of PA0 1. 10-95% by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate in which at least 50% of the linear chains comprise recurrent structural units of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl and X represents a single bond, --O--, --CO--, --SO.sub.2 --, C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkylene, C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkylidene, C.sub.5 -C.sub.15 cycloalkylene, C.sub.5 -C.sub.15 cycloalkylidene or ##STR2## 2. 5-90% by weight of a thermoplastic resin and/or 3. 5-90% BY WEIGHT OF RUBBER WHICH MAY BE MODIFIED.
