Abstract
This bale forming apparatus applies continuous feeding and laying of precompressed sheet of fibrous material, such as agricultural crops and industrial products, in a bale forming channel where the body of the bale is built up by the deposition and compression of folded layers of the precompressed material. The entire bale forming process is accomplished by a simple roller mechanism which requires lower power input than conventional plunger type balers. This principle is especially suitable to form relatively large size rectangular bales.
