Abstract

C-homoestratrienes of the formula ##STR1## wherein ##STR2## R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different, and each is hydrogen, acyl, alkyl, cycloalkyl or tetrahydropyranyl; and PA1 R.sub.3 is hydrogen, ethynyl or chloroethynyl; possess very good estrogenic properties.
