Abstract
Composition and method for emergency treatment of burn injuries. A solution f poly-.epsilon.-caprolactone and triethyl citrate plasticizer or triacetin plasticizer in a volatile solvent such as methylene chloride is applied to the burn area by spraying or swabbing. Upon evaporation of the solvent a flexible film of the plasticized polymer is left to serve as a partial barrier to water loss.
