Abstract

A process for forming capsules comprising: PA1 (i) forming a solution of wall material and core material in a solvent; PA1 (ii) admixing said solution with an immiscible liquid to form a dispersion wherein said solution is the dispersed phase and the immiscible liquid is the continuous phase; PA1 (iii) altering the solubility characteristics of the solvent for said solution to effect sequential phase separation of said core and wall materials, respectively, thereby forming capsules of core material encapsulated with wall material; and PA1 (iv) recovering said capsules.
