Abstract
Process for producing compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, and n is 1 or 2, which process comprises condensing aminohydroxynaphthalenesulphonic acids of the formula ##STR2## with 2,4,6-trifluoro-s-triazine, in an aqueous solution or suspension, within a pH range which is defined by EQU pK.sub.N(R)H .ltoreq.pH.ltoreq.(pK.sub.OH -2) wherein pK.sub.N(R)H and pK.sub.OH are the pK values respectively of the amino group and hydroxyl group of the aminohydroxynaphthalenesulphonic acid and pH is the hydrogen exponent, to give compounds of the formula (1).
