Abstract

A curable polyester oligomer having a molecular weight of between 300 and 10,000 and at least one silyl radical at the side chain or at the end of the molecule, with the silyl radical being represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent hydrogen or any monovalent hydrocarbon radical with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, selected from the group consisting of alkyl radical, aryl radical and aralkyl radical; R.sub.3 represents divalent hydrocarbon radical with 0 to 10 carbon atoms, "X" represents any radical selected from the group consisting of halogen, alkoxy, acyloxy, aminoxy, phenoxy, thioalkoxy, and amino radicals; "a" is an integer 0, 1 or 2; and "b" is an integer 0 or 1.
