Abstract
The mercaptoacylpiperazine carboxylic acid compounds which have the formula ##STR1## wherein R, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each is hydrogen or lower alkyl; PA1 R.sub.1 is lower alkyl; PA1 R.sub.2 is hydrogen, lower alkanoyl, benzoyl or ##STR2## m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 1, 2 or 3, the sum of m+n being equal to 1, 2 or 3 and salts thereof, are useful as hypotensive agents.
