Abstract

Fluorine substituted phenoxybenzylcarbonyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, cyano or ethynyl and PA1 R.sup.2 represents the radical ##STR2## wherein R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, which are identical, each represent chlorine, bromine or methyl, or PA1 R.sup.2 represents the radical ##STR3## wherein R.sup.5 represents a phenyl ring which optionally carries one or more substituents each selected independently from halogen, alkyl, alkylthio and alkoxy each with 1-4 carbon atoms, nitro and methylenedioxy, which possess arthropodicidal properties. The benzyl alcohol components of these esters are also new.
