Abstract
This specification discloses an improved ice hockey stick in which strips of reinforcing plastic material disposed in preferably embedded into the wide side surfaces of the handle of an ice hockey stick which otherwise is made of suitable hardwood. The construction is such that the completed hockey stick handle will be perceived by the hockey player as a conventional wooden hockey stick and not as a hockey stick whose handle is made of plastic or is covered with plastic material.
