Abstract

An aqueous hair dye preparation comprising an oxidation dyestuff combination of a developer component consisting of a tetraaminopyrimidine derivative or a water-soluble acid addition salt thereof and as coupler, at least one of the following: PA0 (a) 2,4-diaminophenol PA0 (b) 2,4-diamino-3-chlorophenol PA0 (c) 2-amino-4-methylphenol PA0 (d) 3-amino-2,6-dimethylphenol PA0 (e) 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone PA0 (f) 2,4-diamino-6-methylphenol PA0 (g) 3,4-diaminophenetole PA0 (h) 1,3-dihydroxy-5-methylaminobenzene PA0 (i) 1-hydroxy-7-aminonaphthalene PA0 (j) 1-hydroxy-8-aminonaphthalene PA0 (k) 1,6-dihydroxynaphthalene PA0 (l) 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene PA0 (m) 3,5-dimethoxyphenol, as well as a process for dyeing hair by utilizing this oxidation dyestuff combination.
