Abstract
This invention relates to the removal of substantially all of the disodium terephthalate (Na.sub.2 TA) dissolved in a dilute aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. More particularly this invention pertains to the recovery for reuse of an aqueous solution containing 5 weight percent sodium hydroxide from an aqueous solution containing, on a weight basis, from 5 to 5.25 percent Na.sub.2 TA and 2.5 to 3.0 percent sodium hydroxide.
