Abstract
An aluminum alloy for use in the production of enameled articles or articles subjected to elevated temperature having the following composition (% by weight): ______________________________________ Mn 0.9 to 1.5 Si 1.0 to 1.5 Cr 0.05 to 0.2 Mg < 0.2 Cu < 0.2 Fe .gtoreq. 0.4 Ni .gtoreq. 0.05 Fe + Ni + Co 0.8 to 2 ______________________________________ remainder aluminum and normal impurities.
