Abstract
A dentrifice in paste or powder form which contains, in addition to the usual constituents, at least one physiologically compatible, natural or synthetic dye and at least one high-foam surfactant and in which the dye and surfactant contents are so co-ordinated that colored foam produced by the user on brushing takes 20 seconds or more to become white or only pale in color so that this serves as an indication of the correct period of brushing necessary.
