Abstract

Described is a gas phase permeable filter and method for making same comprising the steps: PA1 1. Providing a gas phase permeable substrate having opposite surfaces; PA1 2. Applying an adhesive to one or both of the surfaces of the substrate; PA1 3. Applying particulate gas phase odor-removing means to the adhesive coated surface or surfaces of the substrate; PA1 4. Drying the adhesive; and PA1 5. Assembling the substrate in a desired filter configuration wherein the outer surface of the filter is a surface of the substrate free of particulate gas phase odor-removing means and the inner surface of the filter is a surface of the substrate coated with the particulate gas phase odor-removing means adhesively secured thereto.
