Abstract
A process for preventing oligomer deposits on dyeings produced on textile material consisting of or containing polyester fibers, which process comprises applying to said material during or after dyeing a phthalic acid ester of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl or alkenyl of 6 to 22 carbon atoms, PA1 X.sub.1 and X.sub.2, is hydrogen or methyl and the other is hydrogen, PA1 Z is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and PA1 n is 1 to 4.
